Gown

South College is gowned, meaning gowns are worn to Matriculation and Formal Dinners. Matriculation is a congregation to welcome you to the University community and formal dinners are a communal dining experience which will take place regularly throughout the year. In order to select the right sized gown you need to measure the length (in inches) between your shoulder and your knee, sizes come in 40", 42", 44", 46", 50" or 52". Gowns are priced at £50 for JCR members and £60 for non-JCR members.
