What is Compass?

Compass CFS is South’s annual charity fashion show in aid of St Cuthbert’s Hospice, a Durham-based charity that provides free care for people with life-limiting illnesses, people approaching the end of life, and those who are bereaved.

Since its inception in 2021, Compass has raised over £32,000 for the Hospice, including £12,167 from the 2025 show alone. Whether you’re interested in modelling or joining the executive committee to shape the show behind the scenes, Compass offers a wide range of opportunities to get involved with. As one of South’s largest societies, we’re proud to have built an inclusive and passionate community.

The show night itself is a highlight of the year and a great way to wrap up the summer term. We’re fortunate to showcase designer clothes alongside donated items from St Cuthbert’s Hospice in an unforgettable evening of fundraising and entertainment.
